I had a wonderful stitchy weekend!!! It all began on Friday… I took the day off of work and went on a road trip to see 2 LNS with one of my friends. The 2nd shop we went to is located in Alameda, CA. It is by far the BEST cross stitch store I have EVER been to!! It’s called Needle in a Haystack. It’s a huge store, with so many cross stitch charts, fabrics and pretty things to look at. The best thing about the store is how organized it is. They have their charts hanging in sleeves so you can see each one easily without digging through a box or bin. I was very impressed!
On top of it, they have so many patterns I have never seen in a LNS before. We spent 3 hours looking at everything… and I still don’t think we saw it all. I will definitely be going back there!!!
Saturday I went to my friend’s house and spent the afternoon stitching on our HAED Sal Challenge WIPs. We got a lot of stitching done, and then went out for a fantastic dinner. On top of it all, when I got home I found I had been RAK’ed 2 amazing HAED charts – Old World Map and QS Light of Beautitude! What a wonderful end to my stitchy weekend!
